Michael Grey

 

Michael Grey, MSCA, CCNA, is president and co-founder of CVNetworks. He is responsible for strategic planning, marketing and business development. Mr. Grey provides technical direction on all projects involving implementation of wireless networks and utilities used connect to the internet and satellite user bases. Mr. Grey possesses extensive experience with Local Area- and Wide Area- Network administration: planning and installation, configuration, user management, security, training, support, and troubleshooting associated with Microsoft Windows 2003 Server, 2000 and 2000 Server family and Windows XP and Windows 9x. He is also proficient in the following technologies: Linux (French Language) TCP/IP, DNS: Bind and AD, DHCP, WINS, proxies and firewalls;  DSL, Frame Relay, ISDN, T1.

Grey completed undergraduate coursework in mechanical engineering at The University of Virginia in 1983. He has been a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) since 2003 and a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA?) since 2001. 

Recent projects of note include:

  • Hampton University’s Wireless Internet Initiative, complete wireless internet coverage over their entire campus, inside and outdoors.
  • Hubbard Insurance, Kilmarnock, VA. Windows Small Business Server 2003 Network installation.
